William Caveill Obituary, William Caveill Has Passed Away

William Caveill Obituary, Death – On Saturday, August 20, 2022, William Caveill, who had reached the age of 76, died away. He was the son of William P. and Belva F. (Kauffman) Caudill, both of whom passed away, and was born in McKeesport on October 20, 1945. William was a dog and horse lover and farrier. He was also an outstanding square dancer and a vehicle enthusiast and hobbyist, especially when it came to hot rods and muscle cars from the 1950s and 1960s. William retired as a technician from the Bettis National Atomic Lab in West Mifflin.

He is survived by his sons, Jason Caudill of Liberty Borough and Bryan Caudill and his wife, Kristen, of North Huntingdon; his grandson, Camden Caudill; his siblings, Braxton Caudill and his wife, Lazann, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Christine Caudill and her husband, Earl Peters, of Hereford; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. William’s brother Barton H. “Harvey” Caudill passed away before him, following in the footsteps of William’s parents. On Tuesday, August 23, 2022, the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory in Versailles will be open from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM for visitation for family and friends.

A funeral service will be performed on August 24, 2022 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home, and the procession and burial will take place in the Westmoreland County Memorial Park in Greensburg immediately after the service concludes.
