Wayne Perry Obituary, Death – Wayne E. Perry, age 70, of Bolton Landing, New York, passed away on the 11th of January, 2023 at his home. He was the son of the late Gordon E. Perry and Adah E. (Duggan) Perry. The 22nd of May, 1952 marked Wayne’s birth, and he has spent his entire life at Bolton Landing. He was a member of the graduating class of 1972 from Bolton Central School, where he received his education. On May 25, 1974, Wayne tied the knot with Wendy M. Shook, who was from Bolton Landing. Wayne spent a significant portion of his career at General Electric in Fort Edward, New York. After being laid off from General Electric when the company went out of business, he found work as a boat mechanic at Chic’s Marina, where he remained until his retirement.

The Adirondacks and the Catskills were two of Wayne’s favorite places to go fishing and hunting; in the Adirondacks, he often fished with his best buddy Albert Huck, and in the Catskills, he often hunted with his relatives. He was always able to regale you with exciting tales of his hunting adventures.

Wayne is survived by Wendy, the woman he has been married to for the past 49 years; sons: Eugene, Brian (Amanda), Greg (Eva), Albert, and Jason; six grandchildren: Albert Jr., Britany, Matthew, Holly, Marissa, and Mariah; two brothers: Ronald (Darlene) Perry and John (Faye) Perry both of Bolton Landing; sister Cynthia (Jack) Brinkman of Knapp, Wisconsin; nieces and nephews: David, On Wednesday, January 18, 2023, from 10 am to 12 pm, friends and family are welcome to pay their respects to Wayne’s family at Alexander Funeral Home, located at 3809 Main Street in Warrensburg. Following the visitation, friends and family are invited to a buffet lunch that will be held at the Bolton Community Center located at 56 Edgecomb Pond Road in Bolton Landing, New York.
