Victoria Spurlin Obituary, Death – Mrs. Victoria Lynn Stanley Spurlin, who was 54 years old and from Galax, Virginia, passed away at the Lewis Gale Hospital in Blacksburg, Virginia on March 22, 2023. On July 25, 1968, she was welcomed into the world by her parents, James Edwin Stanley and Ruth Brown Stanley, in the state of Maryland. Her brother Billy Stanley and her sister Betty Stanley both passed away before she did, so she was not the only member of her family to have passed away before her father.

She is survived by her mother, Ruth Brown Stanley of Galax, Virginia; sister, Sandra Harbor of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren, Cort Spurlin and Dixie Spurlin; special friends, Amy Espinosa and Donald Carico; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Her son, Daniel Spurlin, and his girlfriend, Michelle Shupe, live in Fries, Virginia. Her daughter, Kayla Johnson, and her husband, Aaron, live in Independence, Virginia. At High Country Services on Monday, March 27, 2023, beginning at 7 p.m., there will be a Celebration of Life Service held in honor of the deceased. JR Bowers is going to be the referee. The family will greet friends beginning at six o’clock and continuing through seven o’clock, which is one hour before the service.
