Tommy Whitten Obituary, Death – Tommy Whitten went away while he was at home with his family in Cuero, Texas. He was surrounded by his loved ones at the time of his passing. He went to the heavenly home that the Lord had prepared for him and went there to be with the Lord. Eagle Lake, Texas served as the location of his birth on March 3, 1947, and his parents, Joe Bennett Whitten and Lena M. Rickman Whitten, were there to greet their new son into the world.
He was the only child that they ever had in their entire life. He is survived by his wife, Dianne (Cessor Guenther) Whitten; stepdaughter, Crystal Lynn Webb (Sean); step grandson, Ethan Tyler Webb; his constant companion Roy (his dog); and his longtime friend, Ralph Turner, who was like a brother to him. He is also survived by his dog. He will be sorely missed by everyone. His cousins Judy Esco (also known as Dwight), Pam St. Clair (also known as Bud), and Tim Whitten all lived on after him. Both of his parents had already passed away before he was even born.
A special thank you goes out to Hospice of South Texas and Dr. Jennifer Gonzales, in addition to the members of Tommy’s family and friends who provided care for him so that he could continue to live in his own home right up until the moment when the Lord called him to be with him in heaven. At a later time, there will be a memorial service as well as a celebration of life held for the family and friends of the person who passed away.
