Terrance Bateman Obituary, Franklin County Sheriff’s Terrance Bateman Has Died

Terrance Bateman Obituary, Death – A message from Running 4 Heroes was sent to the office of Sheriff Dallas Baldwin not too long ago. This group was started by Zechariah, who is presently just 14 years old and has been leading it since its inception. The gender of Zechariah is male. In remembrance of a police officer who was murdered in the line of duty, he travels the whole length of the United States on foot and then presents a flag to the officer’s family at the end of his journey.

Terrance Bateman, our very own treasured Deputy, was the subject of a memorial service that was planned and coordinated by Zechariah and held at COVID. On the 15th of January, 2022, Deputy Bateman lost his battle with COVID and passed away. Everyone who worked with him over his more than 26 years of service recalls him as someone who was well-liked, respected, and greatly missed in the workplace. Brenda Bateman, who was the widow of Deputy Bateman, was presented with the flag by Sheriff Baldwin, Major Levente Berry, and Deputy Robert Hubbard, who also had the distinction of presenting the flag to Brenda Bateman.

Also, six of their seven children were present at the ceremony, making it a family affair. We are thankful to Zechariah for remembering such an extraordinary individual; we do not have the same opportunities that he did.
That was Rick Boysel doing the deed. The word “wonderful” is the best one to use when attempting to convey how deeply Deputy Bateman is missed.
