Sue Austin Obituary, Sue Austin Has reportedly Passed Away

Sue Austin Obituary, Death – We are deeply saddened to inform you of the demise of SUE AUSTIN, who, along with her husband Trevor, was one of the founding members of the NCMD. Our condolences go out to her family and friends. We want her family and friends to know that we are deeply sorry about their loss. During this trying time, we want her family to know that we are thinking about and praying for them. Sue served as Trevor’s assistant in the capacity of Assistant General Secretary during the many years that Trevor was the General Secretary of the NCMD. Trevor served in both of these capacities throughout this time.

They waged a relentless battle against efforts to control and restrict metal detecting in the UK, and there is no question that all of us owe Sue and Trevor an enormous obligation because of this. There is no room for debate on the magnitude of the debt that each of us owes to Sue and Trevor. They persisted and worked hard over an extended length of time in order to gain the privileges that people who use metal detectors in modern times take for granted as a matter of course. These freedoms are a direct result of the work that they put out. We owe Sue and Trevor a considerable amount of money, and we are quite grateful to them.

They were both incredibly important people in the hobby, and it is a terrible tragedy that they were both taken from us at such an awfully young age. [T]hey were both taken from us at such an awfully early age. During this trying time, we want Amanda, David, and Jenny and all of their children to know that our thoughts and prayers are with them and that we are thinking about and praying for them.
