Shawn Price Obituary, Death – Shawn F. Price, who was 41 years old, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2012, at his residence on Morgan Run Road in Morgantown. He resided in the town of Morgantown. Shawn Price’s parents were George Rick Price from Morgantown, Pennsylvania, and Sheila Hofer Voorhees from Blanchard, Pennsylvania. Shawn Price was born on February 5, 1970, in Amarillo, Texas. In 1989, Shawn completed his high school education at Morgantown High School and graduated with his diploma. He served in the United States Army from 1995 to 2001, and during that time, he was honored and presented with a variety of accolades and decorations for the devotion and commitment he showed to the mission of the Army.

Prior to receiving a release from the military with honor, he had already achieved the rank of Sergeant before leaving the service. By taking part in the Special Olympics, he contributed his time and energy to the Special Olympics organization, which is a charitable organization. Apart from that, some of his other interests were listening to heavy metal music, working with wood, following NASCAR and the Pittsburgh Penguins, and spending time in the great outdoors. His wife, Shelly Ann Daft Price, and their three children, Brooke Alexis, Krystalynne Stephanie, and Mirandalee Faith Price, live in Morgantown. So do his brothers, Ben Price and his wife Nikki, and Andrew Price.

His maternal grandmother, Viola Faye Hofer, also resides in Morgantown, as does his nephew, Jonavin Frederick Price. In addition, his mother’s brother, Jonavin Frederick Price, also resides in Morgantown. His mother and father passed away before he was born. His mother and father passed away before he was born. On Thursday, February 2, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM, as well as on Friday, February 3, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, the Covenant Evangelical Methodist Church, which is situated in Morgantown at 802 Greenbag Rd., will be available to members of the congregation’s family and friends.

A funeral service is scheduled to take place on Friday. Pastor Jamey Gremillion will preside over the funeral and deliver the eulogy for the deceased. Full military honors will be bestowed upon the deceased at the completion of the service that was previously held in their memory.
