Severo Muniz Accident, Death – Severo Muniz was recognized as the person who was killed in a motorbike accident that occurred on 42nd Street on Tuesday evening by the Odessa Police Department. On March 28, at around 7:45 p.m., many motorcyclists were involved in an accident that took place near the intersection of 42nd Street and Governor Preston Smith Drive.

According to the findings of the investigation, Muniz was traveling east on a Green Kawasaki Ninja with at least two other motorcyclists in the 5000 block of E 42nd when the driver of a Nissan Altima traveling west failed to yield the right of way while making a left-hand turn onto Preston Smith Road. The collision resulted in the deaths of all three individuals.

Griselda Cardenas was driving the Nissan when she and Muniz’s motorcycle, together with another Kawasaki Ninja that was driven by Brandon Rosenthal, collided with one another. Because of this, a third motorcycle, a Honda CB1000 ridden by Mario Olivas, also lost control and crashed.

Muniz was transported to the Medical Center Hospital, but he did not survive his stay there. In addition, Rosenthal was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. At the scene, Olivas received medical attention and was later discharged. The inquiry is still on, and it is not yet apparent whether or not the driver of the Nissan will be charged with a crime.
