Scott had served the organization for a number of years. Before leaving the Berkeley Vale Rural Fire Brigade, Scott Sheaves served as a volunteer there. The Berkeley Vale Rural Fire Brigade considered themselves to be in a position of extraordinary good fortune to have Scott Sheaves as a member of their squad. Before Scott Sheaves handed in his resignation, he was serving as a volunteer firefighter for the Berkeley Vale Rural Fire Brigade.
