Ruth Tittle Obituary, Death – Mrs. Ruth Mae Tittle, 91, of Brilliant died Sunday, April 2, 2023, at Ridgeview Health Care Center in Jasper. Jacob Lee Roy Barnes and Ora Mae McKay Barnes had Ruth Mae Barnes Tittle on July 23, 1931, in Lamar County, Alabama. She enjoyed Brilliant High School and graduated in 1950. On January 22, 1952, she married Howard Tittle, her soulmate. Ruth and Howard had their son Charles in October and their daughter Teresa in September 1959. Ruth supported her children, grandchildren, and everyone in their lives. She participated in everything. Ruth loved her family second to God. Ruth was a Whitehouse Christian. She played dolls, doctor, and beauty shop with her great grandchildren for hours. She adored desserts and believed they made dinners better. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Teresa Smith (James), daughter-in-law, Jeanette Tittle, granddaughters Ginger Tittle Eatman (Jason) and Paula Tittle Hatton (Jon), grandson, Wesley Smith (Kali), great granddaughters Lily Piper Hatton, Saylor Kate Smith, and Oaklyn Tayte Smith, sister Lounell Cagle, brothers Eugene Barnes, Wiley Barnes (Maxine), and Sam Barnes (Shelby), and many nieces and nephews.
