Rabbie Namaliu Obituary, Former Prime Minister Rabbie Namaliu Has Passed Away

Rabbie Namaliu Obituary, Death – This afternoon, FORMER Prime Minister Sir Rabbie Langanai Namaliu died away while being transported by medical helicopter from Tokua in East New Britain Province to Port Moresby. He had been ill for some time. According to officials at Tokua Airport, the long-serving Foreign Minister of Papua New Guinea was transported to the Nonga hospital today after suffering a minor heart attack. When he died away, he was being transported by medivac from Tokua to Port Moresby when they found him.

Sir Rabbie was the head of the Pangu Party during his time as the fourth Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea, which he held from July 4, 1988 to July 17, 1992. On Monday, April 3, 2023, you may learn more by reading the Post-Courier. The word “gentlemen” is one that is frequently used in conjunction with the name Sir Rabbie Namaliu. A true intellectual, who not only served his country with dignity but also respected the titles and duties he carried in a professional manner, which is something that I long to see again in public service and politics.

Having met him a few times over the years, I would also add that he respected the titles and duties he carried in a way that I long to see again in public service and politics. Anybody who claims to want to honor such a guy should do so by modeling their own leadership after the sort of leader he was. What a different kind of country we would be if we had a lot more people like him. I can only imagine how much those who knew him best would miss having him around. Please accept my sincere sorrow and sympathy on behalf of his family and friends.
RIP In Peace Sir Rabbie Langanai Namaliu GCL KCMG PC
