Payton Maybee Obituary, ST. Catharines ON, Payton Maybee Has Sadly Passed Away

Payton Maybee Obituary, Death –  It is with the deepest regret that we must share the news that the most wonderful angel departed this world on Sunday, April 2nd, 2023. Payton Dolores, our beautiful baby girl, tragically lost away far too soon at only 8 months old. Payton is irrevocably loved, cherished, and missed by her parents, Brad and Victoria, as well as by her older brother, Parker. She is also dearly missed by her grandparents, Archie and Michelle Maybee, and Tom and Darlene Greenhalgh; her aunties, Alexandra and Amanda; uncles, Josh, Cameron, and Trevor; and cousins, Bentley, Nova-Grace, and Mylah.

Payton was born on September 15, 2000, and passed away on November 17, 2018. Payton was adored by a large number of individuals, all of whom will miss her bright smile and infectious laughter. She was the guiding star in many people’s life. Every day at daycare, she looked forward to spending time with her pals and her big brother. For such a wonderful child, the amount of time she spent with us was much too brief. Her vivacious and sarcastic personality will continue to be cherished in perpetuity by those who were closest to her.

The arrangements for the funeral have been given to the care of the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, which is located at 585 Carlton Street in St. Catharines. Visitation for Payton will be held on Friday, April 7th from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM for family and friends. This will be followed by a service at 1:00 PM, and a reception will be held at the Veterans Club, which is located at 15 George Street. This is in accordance with the wishes of Payton’s family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to the Ronald McDonald House Charities at the Hamilton location in memory of Payton and in recognition of the excellent care that they provided for her. In accordance with the wishes of Payton’s family, we ask that, in lieu of black, you dress in bright colors, particularly pink and purple, which were two of Payton’s favorite colors.
