Norma Borjas Obituary, DPS Identifies Pedestrian Killed In Deadly Hit & Run

Norma Borjas Obituary, Death – An inquiry into the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman whose corpse was found on the shoulder of Highway 62/82 in Texas has been opened by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS). The body of the deceased person was discovered in the middle of the road next to the motorway. It has been found that the individual who passed away as a direct result of the incident was a woman called Norma Linda Borjas who lived in the city of Lubbock.

At the time of her passing, she had reached the age of 35. It was discovered that she had sadly gone dead at the scene, as she had been unable to recover from the injuries she had incurred as a result of the incident. The state police have begun searching for the car that made a hasty getaway from the site of the incident in an effort to identify and apprehend the persons who are to blame for the collision.

Borjas was reportedly walking across the southwest travel lanes on U.S. Highway 62 around milepost 338 as a vehicle was travelling in the southwest direction on the inner travel lane, according to the DPS. On route US 62, this happened when the vehicle was traveling in a south-by-southwesterly direction. Borjas was walking across the highway when she was hit by a vehicle that immediately fled the site of the accident following the impact. After the collision, the driver departed the area of the accident extremely fast.

As a result of the injuries she endured, Borjas did not survive for very long and ultimately died away. The Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office contacted the Department of Public Safety on Sunday morning at around 7:15 to inform them that a gunshot had just been fired in the area.
