He was taken there from Ayer. Matt was born in Worcester, although he spent his childhood and adult life in Lancaster. After meeting the love of his life and finding his soul mate in Carrie Randall, he moved to Littleton.

He will be lovingly remembered and missed by his Mother, Sandra A. LaFountaine-Leger and her Husband, Ronald Leger, of Fitchburg, formerly of Lancaster; his maternal Grandfather, Donald LaFountaine of Lancaster; two brothers, Nicholas and Jake Trueblood, both of Fitchburg; a sister, Sarah M. Richards and her husband, Benjamin, of Clinton; two step-brothers, Jacob and Bradley Leger, both of Fitchburg; aunts and uncles Sadly, (Collette) LaFountaine passed away in the year 2009.

Throughout the course of the last few years, Matt worked as an insulation professional at Dolphin Insulation in Littleton. Both Slater’s in Bolton and Keith Chasse Construction were among his previous places of employment. He spent a lot of time playing video games and hanging out with his best buddies from childhood, Eli, Dube, and Jarred. He was looking forward to going fishing and spending some time by the water just relaxing and soaking in the scenery.

Matt’s grin was contagious, and he had a way of making everyone feel like they were valued and loved. Matt persisted despite having to deal with the crippling effects of epilepsy, which he had suffered from since the age of fifteen. He served as an inspiration to everyone. In addition to that, people will remember him for his impeccable taste and elegance in apparel.

Matt would never be seen outside the house in an untidy state; he would always be dressed to the nines. He will unquestionably be remembered fondly by many. And if you had the good fortune to be there when he was screaming out a melody, then you had firsthand knowledge of how talented he was.

On Sunday, April 2, 2023, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, guests of Matt’s family are cordially invited to attend a visitation at the McNally & Watson Funeral Home, located at 304 Church Street in Clinton.
