Linda Petrich Obituary, longtime SJHS teacher Linda Petrich has sadly passed away

Linda Petrich Obituary, Death – Linda Petrich, a veteran educator who had worked at SJHS for a lot of years, passed away on Monday, March 19, the solemnity of St. Joseph. Petrich had worked there for a lot of years. She had been employed there for a good number of years. While we are deeply sorry about the circumstances, we want you to know that our hearts go out to you as we share this news with you. In every respect, Linda was the epitome of the characteristics that make for an effective educator. She was capable of coming up with logical solutions to any problem or predicament that arose thanks to her creative thinking, her keen intellect, and her ability to come up with novel solutions to problems.

All of these characteristics could be found in her. Because Linda has devoted the last 45 years of her life to helping the students and staff of SJHS, we will be eternally grateful to her.
She is survived by her cherished grandchildren, including her granddaughter Faith ’17, her sons Daniel and Matthew, her daughter Johanna ’96, and her sister Barbara from the Class of 1973. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. Her grandchildren brought joy and happiness into her life.

Her children and grandchildren were the source of much joy and happiness in her life. During this trying time, please remember all of them in your thoughts and prayers as they grieve the loss of their cherished mother, grandmother, and sister. A life that was entirely devoted to Saint Joseph, the patron saint of our neighborhood and community, and that was spent working for him throughout its entirety was considered to be a holy life. It is my most fervent hope that, by the grace of God, her soul, along with the souls of all the holy people who have lived and died in the past, may finally arrive at the eternal rest and peace that they so richly deserve. I say this because it is my most fervent hope.
