Linda Loughlin Obituary, Death – On March 21, 2019, at the age of 65, Linda M. (O’Connor) Loughlin passed away at the UMass Medical Center after a courageous battle against cancer. She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Paul L. Loughlin; her two children, Matthew Tisdell and his fiancĂ©e, Kelly of Newton, and Allison LaFratta of Worcester; one sister, Patricia A. Pace and her husband, James of Auburn; one brother, John P. O’Connor and his wife, Judy of Sandwich;

Also, four nieces, Alyson, Katherine, Alexandra, and Kelsey; and one great-niece, Livianna. The city of Worcester is where Linda O’Connor’s mother Dorothy M. (Cadigan) O’Connor gave birth to her, and it is also where she was raised after her father Joseph F. O’Connor passed away. South High School, which is a part of the Worcester Public School system, is where she completed her secondary education and earned her diploma.

After working for the Auburn Public School System for many years, Linda is now able to relax and enjoy her retirement. Linda had a deep-seated desire to see the world, and some of her most cherished travel locations were Mexico, the Caribbean, and Ireland. She made a large number of beautiful Afghans using crochet for her family, friends, and neighbors. Both her cheap shopping practices and her immaculate sense of style helped her earn a reputation as a fashion icon.

Both as a host and a cook, Linda was exceptional in every way. She took great pleasure in playing hostess. One of her favorite things to do was to prepare meals with fresh vegetables that she had grown in her garden. St. Peter’s Church, which can be found at 931 Main St., will be the location of a funeral mass that will be held on Wednesday, March 29, at 10 o’clock in the morning. The burial will take place at Saint John’s Cemetery immediately after the funeral services. The rescued animals were Linda’s very best friends.
