Keith Gosney Obituary, Death – We are saddened to notify the wider Harris Pumps community of the passing of Keith Gosney, who served as our Sales and Projects Engineer for the past 45 years. It is with heavy hearts that we share this news with you. The 18th of March was the last day anyone would see him, and his presence would be sadly missed by all.
Keith was an extremely skilled operator who had unrivaled levels of enthusiasm, loyalty, and craftsmanship in his work. No one else could compare to Keith in these areas. His efforts are significantly responsible for the establishment of water treatment facilities at Harris Machinery and, to a significant measure, throughout the rural areas of Hawkes Bay. Everyone who worked with him in the past or who works with him at this time, along with clients and vendors, thought of him more as a friend than an acquaintance.
This was true in both the past and the present. Because of his departure, the water industry in Hawke’s Bay and beyond will be dealt a huge blow, which will have repercussions beyond the region. In this tough time, we are keeping his family and friends in our thoughts and prayers. We are very sorry for their loss. On Friday, March 31, at 1.30 p.m., there will be a celebration of Keith’s life that will be held at Toi Toi. Anybody who would like to pay their respects to Keith is welcome to do so during this event.
