She was preceded in death by her mother Elizabeth Worthy, her father James B. Worthy, Sr., and her husband Vernon Anderson. Her sister Elizabeth Worthy also passed away before her. Her surviving siblings are James Worthy, Mary Worthy Arnold (the late William David Arnold), and Ruby Worthy Davis. She is also survived by her parents (William). In addition to them, she leaves behind a large number of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
