Jane Norton Obituary, Death – Jane L. Norton, who was 80 years old and from Fond du Lac, passed away at the Hospice Home of Hope on March 24, 2023. She was the daughter of Ervin Eisold and Lucille (Haag) Eisold and was born on December 19th, 1942 in the city of Sheboygan. Jane married Gene E. Norton Sr. in Fond du Lac. Jane spent 31 of her working years at Mercury.

Bowling was one of her favorite hobbies, along with quilting, arts and crafts, knitting, crocheting, and planting flowers. Jane enjoyed going to the casino and was particularly fond of hummingbirds. She was a devoted follower of the Green Bay Packers, WWE, and Elvis Presley. It was common knowledge that Jane made the best scalloped corn and creamed corn.

She was a very generous person who never once made a request of any kind. Jane cherished the time she got to spend with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was filled with pride for her entire family. Pam Hernandez (and her husband Rick), Gene Norton Jr. (and his fiancée Mary Kirchner), Dwayne Norton (and his wife Tammy), and Jodi Kelley (and her husband Dave) are her surviving children.

They are also survived by their fifteen grandchildren, including Angela Reyes, Erik Hernandez, Cory Norton, Collin Norton, Casey Norton, Sara Casper, Ashley Stanton, Isaac Norton, Matthew Norton, Jordan Norton, Rosa Norton, Rhilee Norton, Rhianna Norton Her husband, Gene E. Norton Sr., who passed away on July 3, 2005; two of her sisters, Carol and Donna; and one of her brothers, Chuck, all passed away before her.

The Uecker-Witt Funeral Home will be open for visitation on Saturday, April 1, 2023, beginning at eleven in the morning and continuing until three in the afternoon. The viewing will be followed at 3:00 PM by the funeral service, which will take place at the funeral home. The cremation process has been completed. At a later time, the body will be interred at Rienzi Cemetery after funeral services.
