Ita Jane Phelan Obituary – Ita (Jane) Phelan, previously Coombes, passed away on April 4, 2023 at her homes in Marian Park, Drogheda, County Louth, and Moorehall Hall. She was originally known as “Jane.” Moorehall Lodge, the place where the peace and quiet persisted. Ita, often known as Jane, was Paddy’s beloved wife, and she died away not too long ago. Sadly missed by her daughter Ruth, son Colm, daughter-in-law Grace, Ruth’s partner Joe, grandchildren Conor, Clodagh, and Laura, as well as great-grandson Alfie, sisters Vera and Miriam, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.

Sadly missed by her daughter Ruth, son Colm, daughter-in-law Grace, and Ruth’s partner Joe. She had her beginnings in Ireland but spent her latter years in the United States.  I pray that she is finally able to find peace in heaven. The corpse will be laying in repose at Townley’s Funeral Home in Crosslanes on Friday evening from five o’clock until seven o’clock.

The funeral liturgy is going to be place on Saturday at 11 o’clock in St. Mary’s Church, and you’ll be able to watch it online at www.starysdrogheda.ie if you want to. Following the service, the burial will take place at the Calvary Cemetery.
