Harry Blinn Obituary, Death – The loss of Honorary Chief and 70-year member Harry D. Blinn is something that the Chiefs Office, the Officers, and the Members of Bayview Hose Co. 3 announce with profound grief and a heavy heart. During the course of the last seven decades, Harry D. Blinn has been a devoted employee of the organization. Harry D. Blinn served as a dedicated and devoted member of the fire department for over seven decades. His tenure spanned more than seven decades. Honorary Chief Blinn joined the Freeport Fire Department in 1953, and up to the time of his demise, he was an exceptionally active member of the Freeport Fire Department.
Honorary Chief Blinn served as the department’s chief until his passing. He was the member of the department who had the longest tenure up until the time of his demise. Honorary Chief Blinn chose a career in the fire service so that he could devote his life to helping other people. Apart from the time he spent helping in Freeport, he was also a founding member of the Garden City Fire Department Professional Firefighters Union 1588. This was in addition to the time he spent volunteering in Freeport. He served his country with unwavering loyalty as a public servant. I hope that you will be able to get some rest soon, brother.
Today, we are thinking about and praying for everyone who knew and loved you, including your family, friends, brothers in Bayview Hose Co. 3, and everyone else who comes to mind. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of them.
