George Macfarlane Obituary, death – On March 28, 2019, George Macfarlane, a resident of Tullibody who was 81 years old and had a brief struggle with illness, passed away after fighting the disease for a short while. A brief bout with illness had sidelined him. He passed away at home, having had no agony nor discomfort in his final days. At this time, his family requests that any discussion of this matter be handled in the strictest secrecy. Please respect the demands that they have made.

He will be sorely missed by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren because he was a loving father to George, Brenda, Heather, and Mari; he was also a beloved grandpa and great-grandfather. George was also Mari’s great-grandfather in addition to being her grandfather. In addition, George, Mari’s father, departed away before she did before she was born.
A memorial ceremony honoring George’s life will be held at the Stirlingshire Crematory on the afternoon of Wednesday, April 12, at one o’clock in the afternoon. The service will pay tribute to George’s life. The celebration will take place on April 12—which is also his birthday—and will honor him.

Everyone in George’s family and close circle of friends is warmly invited to pay their respects in person and are encouraged to do so. We ask that you please accept our deepest sympathies.
