Gene Ramsey Obituary, Death – We are really saddened to be the ones to deliver the news to you, but Gene Ramsey has died away, and we apologize for the inconvenience this causes. We are the ones who must be the ones to break the awful news to you, and we do it with a heavy heart. Gene fought leukemia with an extraordinary amount of bravery and faith, and as a consequence, his family, friends, and coworkers will miss him very much when he passes away. Gene succumbed to the illness, but not before he encouraged others to fight against it too.

Gene was a member of Bugles Across America and on a regular basis would play the traditional bugle call “Taps” at events that were sponsored by ALNC. These events were held in honor of veterans. The support that was provided by ALNC made it possible for these events to take place. He had a special place in his heart for those people who had served in the armed services during World War II, and he volunteered with the SC for our Keep the Spirit of 45 Alive Programs here at ALNC for a number of years. Also, he had a special place in his affections for those individuals who had served their country honorably in the military services during the Korean War.

In addition to this, he had a unique place in his heart for those persons who had served their nation with dignity in the armed forces throughout the Korean War. Plans for the memorial ceremony that will be held in honor of Gene will be made available to the general public as soon as they have been worked on to completion and checked for authenticity. The memorial service will be held in Gene’s honor. During this difficult time, we want Julie, Gene’s wife, and the rest of Gene’s family to know that we are thinking about them and praying for them. We also want Gene to know that we are praying for them. They have asked that you remember them in your prayers and that you continue to think about them in the meanwhile.
