Frank Kelly was raised in the close community of Felton St. and attended Saint Rose of Lima, Saint Thomas More, and St. Joseph’s University, where he developed friendships that he treasured throughout his life. Frank Kelly was born in Philadelphia to parents Andrew Kelly and Margaret Kelly, who were originally from Donegal and Galway, Ireland. Andrew Kelly was a businessman, and Margaret Kelly was a homemaker. Frank was immensely pleased with his work history at General Electric Company, which spanned more than 40 years. He and his wife Marianne have been devoted parishioners of Sacred Heart Church for the past 51 years, during which time they brought up their family in the Havertown area of Pennsylvania. Frank was a devoted follower of the Philly sports teams and a Villanova Wildcats basketball devotee. He was an avid golfer who also relished the more simple joys of life, such as a well-done filet cooked to perfection and a newly mowed yard. Frank enjoyed spending time with his family and friends on the beach at Ocean City and Long Beach Island, New Jersey, as well as traveling the world with his wife and other friends and acquaintances.

It will be said of him that he was a guy of profound faith who brought a smile to everyone’s face and made them feel like they were the only ones in the room.
