Ernest Brown Taylor Obituary, Death – On March 30, 2023, at 3:22 am, Heaven opened its gates and welcomed the soul of Ernest Brown Taylor. He was born on October 15, 1939. He was known by many different names- Dad, Poppy, ET, and Ernie the Chicken King. His love for life was seen through all his different passions. There was never a day where he wasn’t singing, playing the organ, sewing, raising farm animals, or tending to his garden. Most recently, he has spent his days with Gertrude, a crested duck that brought him international fame at the age of 80.

Our sincere condolences are sent to you and your family on the loss of Mr. Ernie Taylor. It is with great regret that we must proceed in this manner. He can look back on 83 years of experience. Ernie was a wonderful person who was also devoted to playing trivia with his team, which at various times was known as the Beauty School Dropouts, Taylor Made, and Duck Duck Guess. His many interests shed light on his deep love for life and demonstrated how much he treasured it.
