Edward Baker Obituary, Death – Edward V. Baker, age 56, the devoted spouse of Kim (Fee) Baker, died away in his house on March 20th, 2023. He was there on the day of his passing. He is the devoted son of the late Robert “Pistol” Baker and Margaret (Donovan) Baker, both of whom passed away. He was born in Malden. Eddie was a native of Malden and attended Malden High School for his secondary education. As Electrician by profession, he took great pride in the job that he did at Dagle and Lynwell Electrical Allied. In addition to that, he was the Forman for the Boston Schools as an electrician and a proud member of the Local 103.
Eddie spent his childhood summers in Meredith, New Hampshire, on Lake Winnipesaukee. He liked spending time with his family and friends, as well as being out on his boat. Eddie has a personality that was bigger than life. He never allowed the reality to stand in the way of a compelling narrative. Eddie was trustworthy and kind, and he was always there to assist whomever was in need. Just a short while ago, he returned from a vacation to Florida with some of his closest friends. The love and support of his family brought him the most happiness.
He never missed one of his daughter’s hockey games, and he made sure to spend quality time making memories with his devoted wife Kim, their children, and a wide variety of other relatives, friends, and acquaintances. Eddie is going to be missed very, very much. Not only is he divorcing his wife of 20 years, Kim, but he is also the doting father of his three children, Payton, Nolan, and Ava Baker. Brother in love of James Baker and his wife Suzanne, who live in North Reading, as well as Robert Baker, who lives in Hampton, New Hampshire. Grandson of the late Victoria “Babci” Donovan, who was loved by everybody. Dedicated and beloved uncle to Kyle, Zack, and Luke Baker, in addition to Sean Baker.
Loving son in law of Carol Fee and the late Kevin Fee of North Reading, as well as brother in law of Chris Fee of Charleston, South Carolina. Kevin Fee passed away. Eddie will be greatly missed by his loving canine companion, Wilson, as well as by a large number of close and dear friends and relatives. Visitation will take place on Friday, March 24th from 4 to 8 pm at the Cota Funeral Home, which is located at 335 Park Street in North Reading (on the corner of Park Street and Route 28 at the Reading Line). Relatives and friends are warmly welcome to attend.
