Edith Hinn Obituary Fond du Lac, WI, Edith Hinn Has Sadly Died At 89

Edith Hinn Obituary, Death – Edith M. Hinn, who was 89 years old and from Fond du Lac, passed away at St. Francis Home on Monday, March 27, 2023. She was the daughter of William C. and Mabel A. (Lemke) Johnson and was born on October 17, 1933 in Menomonie, Wisconsin. Her mother’s maiden name was Lemke. Edith received her high school diploma from Dunn County High.

In Our Savior Lutheran Church in Menomonie, Wisconsin, on October 3, 1959, Mary tied the knot with Robert T. Hinn. He passed away two years before she did, on February 2, 2020. In addition to her time spent at Damrow Company, Edith spent 18 years working for the telephone business that is now known as AT&T. She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in North Fond du Lac, where she served as a member of the Ladies Aid and was also a teacher at the Sunday School.

Edith was a volunteer with both the Telephone Pioneers and the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home. Edith was a die-hard supporter of the Milwaukee Brewers and the Wisconsin Badgers. She enjoyed doing hand crafts such as sewing, pottery, jewelry making, and other hand crafts; but, the thing that she enjoyed doing the most was retiring to watch her grandkids. Her children, Lori Fink, Robert “Robb” (Susan) Hinn, Phillip (Dawn) Hinn, and Bethel Wittman are among her survivors.

She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Jonathon Fink, Elizabeth (Mike) Tenyer, Olivia (Michael) Loescher, William Hinn, Matthew Moylan, Charles “Chaz” Hinn, and Joshua Gagne; two great-grandchildren, Tucker and Eleanore; her brother, Robert Her parents, her husband, one daughter, Sandra Kay Hinn, one grandson, Daniel R. Fink, two brothers, Richard and Jerome, and a number of brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, including Dorla Johnson, Ervin (Patricia) Hinn, Ralph Hinn, Carol Hinn, Kathy Hinn, Earl Johnson, Donald Halverson, James Roach, and David Hinn, all predeceased her.

She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. At St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church, which is located at 1010 Adams Ave, North Fond du Lac, Wisconsin 54937, there will be a visitation on Saturday, April 1, 2023, beginning at 9:30 AM and continuing until 11:30 AM. The viewing will be followed at 11:30 AM by a funeral ceremony that will take place at the church. At 2:00 in the afternoon, the body will be laid to rest in the Estabrooks Cemetery.
