She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Margaret Ingram Boyd Smith and Ocie Boyd, as well as by her paternal grandparents Margaret Ingram Boyd Smith and Ocie Boyd, as well as by her son Steven M. Johnson, her grandchild Pocosso Beasley, and her siblings Ocie Boyd Jr., Smith Evans Jr., Edward Smith, Susan Parker, and Cheryl Smith. She is survived by her grandson Steven M. Johnson.

The passing of her son Steven M. Johnson marked the conclusion of the loss of a member of her immediate family. Deshon Oliver of Maryland and Pacasso Beasley of Danville, Illinois, both of which are her children; her husband Lawrence Joe Beasley of Danville; her siblings Dorsey Boyd (Patricia) of Danville, Clara Boyd of Champaign, Margaret Boyd of Danville, Evelyn Burford (Oliver) of Danville, Larry Boyd (Patricia) of Urbana, Barbara Evans of Danville and Brenda Evans of Danville; and her grandchildren Melina In addition to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she is survived by relatives, nieces, nephews, other extended family members, as well as acquaintances.
