David Power Obituary, Death – On Friday, March 31, 2023, David “Dave” Keith Powers, who was 57 years old at the time of his death, passed away in his home of natural causes. David Keith Powers, also known as “Dave,” was a resident of the Maryland town of Crofton. At eleven o’clock on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, in the chapel of the Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home, David Harrison will preside as the presiding minister. These religious ceremonies will go as scheduled.
Visitation will start at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at the Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton Funeral Home, and last until 7 p.m. On April 4, 2023, will be the date of the memorial service. The family has entrusted Maddux-Fuqua-Hinton funeral directors with the responsibility of overseeing the funeral’s concomitant services. The funeral home has been entrusted with this duty by the family. David was born on March 5th, and he currently resides in Ohio. His birthplace is the city of Cleveland. Dave’s mother, Connie Sue Martin Powers, is his biological mother; Dave’s father, Burhl Keith Powers, has abandoned the family.
Dave’s dad also continued the family name of Burhl Keith Powers. David’s career in industrial maintenance was flourishing until a motorcycle accident in 2002 rendered him permanently disabled from further employment in the field. David had achieved great success in his chosen area up until that point. Dave had a long and successful career before that. In addition, he was actively involved in the Concord Baptist Church. Connie Powers, his mother, lives in Hopkinsville; Rachel Bush Powers, his wife of 30 years,
lives in Crofton; Shaun Patrick Powers and his wife Becky; Kim Powers Shannon and her husband Steve; and other nieces and nephews round out the surviving members of his family. Rachel Bush Powers, his wife of 30 years, as well as his mother, brother, and sister, all survive him. Shaun Patrick Powers Sr. served in the U.S. Air Force and passed away before his son was born. His wife of 30 years, Crofton resident Rachel Bush Powers, is also the last surviving member of his mother’s extended family. Many members of his mother’s family died when he was still a child.
