Dave A. Ruth Obituary, Death – Dave A. Ruth, age 70, from Galion, Ohio, passed away at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center on Saturday, April 1, 2023. He had been battling an illness for a short period of time before his passing. On March 1st, 1953, Dave Ruth entered this world in Bucyrus. Before he was born, both of his parents, Walter Ruth and Ruth (Pratt) Ruth, had passed away. On June 15, 1973, he tied the knot with Nora (Emory) Ruth, and she is the one who is still around to this day. Not only had his parents passed away before him, but so had his son David Allan Ruth Jr. and his daughter Dorinda L. Ruth.’

Dave is survived by his grandchildren Shane and Jackson, as well as by his siblings John, Mark, Steven, Paula, and Sharon, as well as by his nieces and nephews. In addition, Dave is survived by his siblings. Dave graduated from Bucyrus High School in 1973 and was employed by Bucyrus Blades for the entirety of his 44-year career until he decided to take early retirement. In his spare time, he enjoyed heating up the grill and tinkering with vintage tractors.

The time and place of a get-together that will be held in the not-too-distant future to celebrate life will be announced at a later time.
