Darion Dupree Obituary, Death – On the evening of Thursday, March 23, 2023, at about 10:43 p.m., it was reported that a gunshot had taken place in the 1700 block of Teri Road. Officers from the Austin Police Department (APD) arrived at the scene of the shooting shortly after the report was made. Someone dialed 911 and reported hearing between eight and nine gunshots in the area of a building. The number of bullets heard ranged from eight to nine. They said that the gunfire originated from within the building itself.

Witnesses told the police that there was one male victim who had been shot in the chest. This information was relayed to the police by the victim. The victim, Darion Dupree, did not recover from his injuries and passed away despite the efforts of those who sought to save his life. He was the one who was injured.
