Colin Pope Obituary, Death – We are sorry to inform you that Warwick Redbacks life member Colin “Cardinal” Pope has passed away. He had been a member of the club for a very long time. Our hearts go out to you as we share this news with you since we are deeply sorry about the situation. In the previous 23 years, Popey has been an essential contributor to the club, serving in a variety of capacities including as a member of the committee, the executive, and even as President for a period of four years.
In addition, Popey has been a member of the club for the past 23 years. In addition to this, he has been a passionate fan of the sport for a considerable amount of time in Warwick and all around the Darling Downs. They were able to see the excitement on his face as he watched his team raise the trophy, and the Redbacks consider themselves fortunate to have been able to see it for themselves.
The Redbacks were present a few weeks ago, when the Cardinal Cup was being played, and they were in attendance. In memory of Popey, a gathering to celebrate his life will be held at the Redbacks Club on the following Friday, the 14th of April, at 11am. This event will take place in honor of his passing. Everyone who has ever been a member of the Redbacks family, regardless of whether they are still a member of the family or not, has been invited to pay their respects and is strongly urged to do so by forming a guard of honor for the legendary figure. This can be done by forming a guard of honor for the deceased individual.
