Clarence Clark Obituary, Resident Of Windsor, Died At 89

Clarence Clark Obituary, Death- Clarence Calvin Clark, 85 years old, passed away on March 30th, 2023 in the city of Windsor’s Consulate Healthcare. He was the son of Anderson Henry Clark and Annie Jones Clark, who both passed away and was born in Easley, South Carolina.

He was raised in Carrsville. In addition, he was preceded in death by his wife, Effie Vick Clark; four sisters, Lydie Howard, Mattie Roach, Bernice Beale, and Myrtle Darden; three brothers, Willie Clark, Carl Clark, and Rufus Clark; and a grandson, Brandon Cortez. He also had a grandchild named Brandon Cortez who died before him. Clarence was a veteran who had served in both the United States Air Force and the United States Coast Guard.

He was a graduate of Holland High School. Twelve of those years were spent working as a pipefitter at Newport News Shipyard, while the remaining 24 were spent working at Norfolk Naval Shipyard. Both the Farmers Hunt Club and the Joyner Hunt Club counted him as a member at one point.
Deborah Lynn Hall, Janet Leigh Bleiler (Bobby), and Cheryl Ann Boone are her three daughters who are among her survivors. She also leaves behind her son, William Calvin Clark, as well as her brother, Henry Clark.

seven grandchildren named Christina, Ashley, Amber, Christopher, April, Tiffany, and Amanda; and a large number of nieces and nephews, including Becky “Lela” Fowler and Waunda Turner. Reverend Warren Johnson will preside over a service at the graveside on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at 11 AM in Southampton Memorial Park. The service will be held in conjunction with Military Honors. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Nansemond Suffolk Rescue Squad instead of flowers.
