Charles Hunt Obituary, Death – On March 25, 2023, Charles Lyndon Hunt, who had been a resident of Asheboro, North Carolina, and had reached the age of 82, passed away in the comfort of his own home. Mountain View Church in Asheboro, North Carolina, of which he was a member, will be the location of the funeral services that will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at 2:00 p.m., and the Reverend Clint Kearns and the Reverend David Hunt will serve as the officiating clergy. The funeral services will be held at the location where he was a member. Following the conclusion of the funeral services, the body will be interred in the church cemetery
. On June 5th, 1940, Mr. Hunt was brought into this world in Randolph County, North Carolina. He is the son of Oakle and Myrtle Miller Hunt, both of whom passed away, and he received his secondary education at Farmer High School before graduating from high school. Mr. Hunt was the only proprietor of Hunt’s Auto Components, which was located in the city of Asheboro. In addition to that, he spent a considerable amount of time performing with the Hunt Family Singers. The majority of Mr. Hunt’s time spent in the military was spent serving in the United States National Guard. Mrs. Hunt, Clarice Needham Hunt, and Eula Trotter, Mr. Hunt’s sister, both died before he did.
Mrs. Hunt was Mr. Hunt’s wife. Both of Mr. Hunt’s parents as well as Mr. Hunt’s wife all passed away before him. Surviving members of the family include son Charles Michael Hunt and his wife Brenda, both of Asheboro; sister Louise Jarrell and her husband Bobby, also of Asheboro; brothers Larry Hunt and his wife Jean, and Junior Hunt and his wife Brenda, all of Asheboro; grandchildren Rebecca Worcester (David), Landon Hunt (Cheyenne), Joshua Chaney, and Jonathan Chaney; 10 great grandchildren; and a large number of nieces and nephews.
