Calvin Cain Obituary, Death, Calvin Cain Sadly Passed Away

Calvin Cain Obituary, Death – Calvin Cain went away on Friday, January 27, 2017, at the home that he had lived with his family since he was a little boy. On September 21, 1955, Ralph and Mary (Huber) Cain became parents for the first time, and they welcomed a boy into the world. Calvin spent the majority of his working life in the construction industry, working as a supervisor for a number of local firms. He was well-known and respected in the community due to his work in this industry.

Above all else, Calvin valued the time that he was able to spend with his family, whether they were out on the trail riding their horses or ATVs, or whether they were simply spending the evenings together around the campfire listening to one of Calvin’s many stories. Calvin’s family meant the world to him. His children were without a doubt the source of the greatest pride and happiness in his life.

Calvin is survived by his wife Katherine (Demshar), his children Callen and Logan Cain, his goddaughter Ashley (Josh) Karshen and her daughters Emma and Aubrey, as well as his siblings JoAnne (Tyrone) Browning, Claris Sturgis, Curtis (Teresa) Cain, Clyde (Bonnie) Cain, Carl (Mary) Cain, as well as his brother in law Harry Scott. His maternal and paternal parents, as well as his sisters Christine Cain and Alice Scott, and his brothers Charles, Cecil, and Carol (Buck) Cain, all passed dead before to his birth. Viewing for Calvin will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2017, from 4 pm to 8 pm at the funeral chapel of Powell and Deckard in Bloomington, which is located at 3000 E. Third St. Visitation will start at noon on Wednesday and continue until the start of the ceremony. It will end at 6:00 p.m. Services will be held at The Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, February 1, 2017, at one o’clock in the afternoon, with Pastor Don Campbell serving as the officiating clergy member.
