It was just before one in the afternoon when the woman is said to have been going southbound on Bruny Island Main Road in South Bruny when she may have encountered a medical issue. At the time of the incident, she was reportedly operating a white Holden Barina hatchback, as stated by the authorities.

The authorities have initiated an investigation into the circumstances that led to the tragic event, and they are requesting that anyone who possesses information that may be of assistance come forward.
