Brenda Faye Casterline Obituary, Death – On Monday, March 27, 2023 at 10:40 o’clock in the evening, Brenda Faye Casterline, 73, a resident of Montpelier, Indiana, died away at her residence. Brenda was a graduate of Montpelier High School in 1968. She was born on August 4, 1949 in Monticello, Kentucky, and she attended Montpelier High School. On Saturday, June 1, 1974, she wed Walt I. Casterline Jr. in the Grace Baptist Church located in Montpelier. She had formerly been a part of the Olive Branch Church of the Nazarene, which is located in rural Hartford City, and she currently attends the Lancaster Chapel United Methodist Church, which is located in Craigville, Indiana.

Brenda served as Dr. Don Hunsberger’s secretary for a significant portion of their professional relationship. She had a kind and generous spirit, and she put the requirements of others ahead of her own interests at all times. She had a deep devotion to the Lord and treasured the time she could spend singing hymns with her sisters. Brenda really forward to going to church gatherings, and you could always count on her assistance whenever the Olive Branch Church hosted the yearly Perry Dishman Feast. She enjoyed participating in sporting events, spending time with her family, and having plenty of people around her.

She is survived by her Husband, Walt I. Casterline, Jr., of Montpelier, Indiana; her Son, Jeremy A. Casterline, also of Montpelier; her Daughter, Jessica L. Casterline, also of Montpelier; her Brother, David Foister (Linda), of Monticello, Kentucky; her Sisters, Phyllis Dishman, Cathy Ford, Marilyn Dalton, and Sandy Pendleton; her Bonus Daughter, Angie Roberts (Corey
She was predeceased by both of her parents: her father, Johnnie B. Turner, and her mother, Ila B. Turner. (Foister) Turner, her sisters Janet L. Pursley and Geraldine Sargent, her nephews Mike Wheatley and Jon Sargent, and her father-in-law Walter I. Turner. Casterline, Sr., and Casterline-Bell, the former’s mother-in-law, Betty J. Casterline-Bell.
On Friday, March 31, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, family and friends are invited to congregate at the Walker & Glancy Funeral Home located at 109 W Windsor St in Montpelier to share stories and memories of the deceased.

A memorial ceremony honoring Brenda’s life will be place at the Walker & Glancy Funeral Home on Friday, March 31, 2023 at 2:00 PM, with the Reverend Dewey Miller presiding over the proceedings. In Montpelier’s Brookside Memorial Park is where the interment will take place for the deceased. Because of the excellent care that Brenda received at Hearts of Integrity from Dr. Lori Skidmore and nurse Michelle, Brenda’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to both of them.
