Betty Kilcoole Obituary, Death – Main Street in Kilcoole was home to Betty Gormley, or Betty Gormley née Hunt, a resident who went by both names. She was also known by her middle name, Gormley. Her full name at the time of her public debut was Betty Gormley. Death came to her on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at the St. Columcille’s Hospital in Dublin, Ireland. Both her devoted husband Pat and their small daughter Patricia predeceased her. There was no one else left in her family but her. ‘
After everything that had happened, she was the only one of them left alive. She is Shane’s grandmother and the mother of Thomas and Peter, who are both married to his daughters, Sive and Nell. Shane is now the wife of both Thomas and Peter. She also stands out because she is Shane’s mother-in-law. Because of her kind and caring nature, she is showered with love and admiration from everyone around her. Her beloved brother Heinz, her nieces and nephews, Peter’s girlfriend Tanya, and all of her friends and neighbors on the main street will miss her terribly. The people of Main Street will also mourn her loss.
The deaths of those who live and work along the main street will also be greatly felt by the community. Everyone on the main street who knew her will be profoundly saddened by her death, since she had a huge impact on their lives.
