Barry Smith Obituary, Death – The news of former club coach Barry Smith’s death has left all of us in a condition of profound sorrow as a result of the news of his passing. His passing has placed all of us in a state of profound melancholy. We would like to express our deepest sympathies to the departed person’s family and friends on behalf of everyone here at the Wath Brow Hornets Amateur Rugby League Football Club. After enjoying a great deal of success at Kells, Barry moved on to the Hornets, where he became an important contributor to the team’s accomplishments throughout the latter half of the 1990s and the entirety of the decade.

During this time, the Hornets won a number of championships. Over this time period, the Hornets were successful enough to win several titles. An individual who served as an inspiration to others by displaying steadfast dedication and acting as a model worthy of emulation. The level of concentration and care that Barry put into his work was unmatched in the business; in fact, no one else even came close to coming close to matching it. We are going to miss him terribly, and we want Barry’s wife Mary and the rest of the family to know that we are thinking of them and sending them our love, prayers, thoughts, and support during this difficult time.
