Barbara Hamilton Obituary, Death – On Wednesday, June 17, 2009, at the age of 88, Barbara died away at The Westmount in Kitchener. She did not suffer and she was surrounded by her family as she took her last breath. Gone to be with the one love she’s ever known, her husband Bill, who she married. Beloved mother to Debbie, who is married to Roel Valbracht, Jeff, who is married to Jessie Hamilton, and Lianne, who is married to Joop Heppenstrijdt.

Grandmother who adored her grandchildren Joni, James, Josh, and Lukas. She is Lizzie Ferguson’s best friend, as well as her sister-in-law, and the much-loved aunt of Allana. Mary Gardiner, her niece, remembers her aunt with affection. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 19 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home located at 171 King Street South in Waterloo.

Relatives and friends are encouraged to attend and share memories of Barbara at this time. The memorial ceremony honoring Barbara’s life and faith will take place at Riverdale United Church on Saturday, June 20, 2009 at 11 am. The church is located at 1117 Gerrard Street East (at Leslie Street) in Toronto. Burial took place in Toronto’s Resthaven Cemetery.
