Albert Dowdeswell Obituary, Death – Albert Dowdeswell, the cherished husband of the late Patricia, the devoted father of Alan, Kay, and Ian, the loving father-in-law and grandpa to three generations of grandchildren, the brother of Val as well as the late Doris and Anne, the brother-in-law of John, and Uncle Albert to his wider family in England, passed away peacefully at Mahon Hall Care Home in Portadown on March 20, 2023, following a brief illness. He was laid to rest next to his wife Patricia. His funeral took place with his family present, and he was laid to rest.

During the last few weeks of Albert’s life, the great personnel at Mahon Hall demonstrated an extraordinary amount of compassion for him and his family. They also provided a high level of care and support. We would want to express our deepest gratitude to each and every one of them for everything that they have done. On Thursday, March 30, 2023, at 11:45 am, there will be a memorial ceremony held in memory of Albert at the George McNabb & Co Funeral House in Portadown. The service will be held in his honor. The commemoration of Albert’s life will begin with this activity, which will be the first of its kind. Following this, a funeral service will take place at Roselawn at 2:00 p.m. to commit the deceased.
