71 North Ohio accident, 1 critically injured in North Columbus I-71 collision

71 North Ohio accident – According to information provided by the Columbus Police Department, an accident that took place on Saturday on Interstate 71 in the north side of Columbus resulted in the serious injury of at least one individual. The incident included many vehicles.

Just before 9 o’clock in the morning, a single vehicle was engaged in an accident in the northbound lanes of Interstate 71 at East Dublin Granville Road. The Columbus Division of Police and the Division of Fire were both sent to the scene of the accident to investigate the situation.

An SUV that was on the scene when the firefighters arrived collided with one of the parked fire engines while it had its lights on, as stated by the Battalion Chief of the Fire Department, Jeffrey Geitter.

When further cops arrived, they found a total of five automobiles at the scene, all of which had incurred some kind of damage as a result of the incident. 10TV was not successful in obtaining confirmation from the authorities regarding the involvement of the other two vehicles in the accident.

According to Geitter, who spoke to 10TV about the incident, the victim who was in the SUV was freed from the vehicle and then taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital, where they are listed as being in serious condition but are considered to be stable.

The event is being investigated by the police department in Columbus at the moment.
